There are three different leaderboards in Megapolis: Top 1000, Tycoon, and Neighbors.
Follow the guidelines below if you would like to make it onto the list of the 1000 best players in Megapolis:
1. You need to have a great number of buildings in your city, and they should not all be the same.
2. Do your best to not overload your city with identical items just for the sake of getting experience. This way, you will never make it to the top.
3. Your city must have enough roads.
4. Having large construction sites or objects from special events significantly increases your chances of making it to the top.
5. Naturally, having a high level and lots of experience in the game will be of great help as well.
There are 5 types of Top 1000 leaderboard: by experience, by amount of coins, by population density, by achievements, and by military influence.
Population Leaderboard
The Population Leaderboard is a list of players who have the most people living in their cities. Build residential buildings and register residents to make it to the top.
Coin Leaderboard
The Coin Leaderboard is a list of players that have accumulated the largest amount of coins. Build infrastructural buildings, gather coins, and complete contracts at factories to make it to the top of this leaderboard.
Experience Leaderboard
The Experience Leaderboard is a list of players that have managed to accumulate the most experience. Develop your city and earn experience to make it to the top of this leaderboard. Experience can be earned by doing almost anything within the game. The more experience you have, the higher your level will be, and the more tasks and objects will be available to you. This will help you take part in more leaderboards.
Achievement Leaderboard
The Achievement Leaderboard is a list of players that have unlocked the most achievements. Complete tasks and unlock new achievements to make it to the top of this leaderboard.
Military Influence
The Military Influence Leaderboard is a list of players that have the most military influence in Megapolis. Complete military operations and earn military influence points to make it to the top of this leaderboard.

The Tycoon leaderboard is a list of players that have the most expensive cities around. Their cities are filled with luxurious buildings and architectural wonders. Anyone can make it onto this list! Keep an eye on the updates and build as many unique buildings as you can!
