You need to reach level 10 to access Temporary Storage. Temporary Storage will allow you to temporarily store objects while you rebuild your city. Instructions for removing an object from the field:
- Go to the desired location.
- Tap the city edit button (the tractor icon
) - Go to Temporary Storage (an icon of a house in a box
) - Tap the object you want to remove from the field, and then tap the arrow button at the bottom of the screen
To retrieve an object from storage, just hold down the icon of the desired object and drag it onto the field. Remember to tap the Save button after you've finished editing the city.
How to delete all objects in a location
There are several ways to speed up and simplify the process of rebuilding your city in Edit Mode.
Remove Mode.
In Remove Mode, you just need to touch a building to move it to storage. This mode can be enabled by tapping the button in the upper left corner 
. The mode is on if the button is green, and off if the button is red.
Transferring buildings of the same type to Temporary Storage.
There are several tabs available in Edit Mode:
- Residential
- Infrastructure
- Crafting Buildings (Combines Factories and Stores)
- Resources
- Terrain
- Extras
By selecting one of the tabs, you can remove all buildings of this type in the current area. All you need to do is tap the orange button with a box and arrows in the upper left corner 
.
You can quickly move from district to district in a location without leaving Edit Mode. To do this, tap the region selection button on the right side of the screen
and select the one you want.
It will also allow you to move buildings between areas.
