The Exposed or Exes — are the main and most numerous kind of enemies in the game. They are people who were exposed to viruses. Under the influence of changes, they have devolved to be acting like animals, they are insensitive to pain and suicidal aggressive. Some Exes mutate under the influence of external factors.

The Exes are easy to recognize — they have unkempt bodies covered with wounds and sores. Usually they attack with bare hands.

However, there are exceptions: some Exposed reflexively use large objects in a combat for defense and attack.

The Exposed always stick together, have excellent eyesight and hearing, attack without warning, and troop up when they hear noise.

They can chase you over obstacles, follow you to heights, attack from a distance. Some of them are extremely strong and dangerous.
