In the Foundry, you can mold ingots out of the ore extracted from the Mine. Use ingots at the Production Center (available in the Store) to upgrade your town's factories and steamships, making all of them more efficient. Add ingots to caravans to boost your chances of receiving rare goods and treasure chests.

 

You can build up to three Foundries. A Foundry can have only one production slot and cannot be upgraded.
