Since our game has a large social component (interactions with neighbors, and markets), you need to be connected to the internet to play. This is also what allows you to save your progress. Make sure you have a stable internet connection to avoid possible technical issues with the game. We recommend playing either via a Wi-Fi connection, or a 4G connection with a stable signal.
