At the moment, the game does not have an option to store buildings (though we’re working to implement such a feature in future updates). The Storehouse does have a Buildings section, which is the spot where all the rewards and gifts from your friends will be stored. Once you take a building from the Storehouse and set it up in your city, you will not be able to put it back into storage (so be careful!). It is also not possible to temporarily remove items from the playing field. You can only get rid of them permanently. To get rid of a building, simply remove it. Make sure to keep in mind that you will only get a portion of the original amount you spent to purchase it. If the building was purchased for Megabucks, you will only get coins back. 

In the main menu of the game, tap on the Bulldozer icon, and tap the building you’d like to remove (or sell). You can also tap a building and hold it until it gets highlighted. Select the dynamite icon from the tools panel on the building, or in the lower-right corner of the screen, and confirm that you want to remove this building.
